Performance data, test conditions and comparison benchmarks

Working thickness — The fibre laser marker works busbar 3 to 15 mm thick, against 5 to 15 mm for the pneumatic dot-peen marker in the same range: the laser unit reaches 2 mm thinner material.

Mark content and process — It engraves logos, serial numbers, QR codes, DataMatrix codes and plain text permanently and legibly. Because the process is non-contact, the marked part carries no deformation, mechanical stress or burn mark, which matters on busbar that has already been cut and bent to final size.

Integration and maintenance — The marker is designed to integrate with automation systems and CNC busbar production lines, so marking is done inside the line rather than offline. The laser generator needs low maintenance and has a long service life, which is the deciding factor in continuous production.
