The LT copper busbar punching member is the punch and die tooling set for busbar punching. Punches are made from high-speed steel or SKD11 in round, oblong, square and special shapes across 4.3 to 25 mm, hardened to HRC 60-62, with an estimated life of more than 100,000 holes.

Punch specification — Punch material high-speed steel or SKD11, punching diameter range 4.3 to 25 mm, available in round, oblong, square and special shapes, heat treated to HRC 60-62.
Tool life — The estimated working life is more than 100,000 holes per punch, measured on copper busbar in the standard 4.3 to 25 mm diameter range; actual life depends on maintenance and on the busbar thickness being punched.
Shape and size options — Round profiles run from 4.3 to 25 mm and the standard oblong sizes are 7 x 11 mm, 9 x 13 mm and 11 x 15 mm, all produced in the same holder format so one machine can be switched between hole shapes.
